Please complete the Proposal Submission form after you have emailed your advisor-approved proposal to your committee members and the graduate coordinator. Your advisor must sign this Proposal Submission Form no later than 7 days prior to the first day of classes. Your committee members must sign no later than 7 days after the first day of classes. Once all the signatures have been gathered you will be eligible to enroll in BIOL 691 (University Thesis). To read more about the proposal submission process, please follow this link.

Committee membership will be established by the major professor, who will chair the committee, in consultation with the student. The second member of the thesis committee must also be a tenure-track, or tenured faculty member in the university. Faculty participants in the Early Retirement Program may serve as the second member of the thesis committee. The third member of the thesis committee may be a lecturer or come from outside the University. You are welcome to have additional committee members but they are not required to sign this form.
